Mitchell Bailey is a Junior at Colorado State University studying Civil Engineering. He grew up in Japan and Germany in a military environment. He remembers fishing early in his life when he would return to the United States every summer. Michigan is where he developed his love for the outdoors and fishing. When he moved to Colorado for college, his interest in fly fishing sparked. It has become his biggest hobby and spends a lot of time and money on it. From making the flies to fish with, to driving to different destinations, he enjoys every aspect of the sport. He is a member of the Fly Fishing Club at CSU and has created connections with like minded fishermen. Aside from class, Mitchell spends the majority of his time fishing at the Cache la Poudre River in the Poudre Canyon. He spends the rest of his down time in coffee shops and fly fishing stores in Old Town, Fort Collins, Colo.
